The Accu-Steer The HPU100 pump unit is a continuously operating pump unit designed to interface hydraulic steering systems with electric control or an autopilot. As described, the engine runs continuously at start-up and the outlet oil is directed to the port or starboard line by operating the four-way solenoid valve mounted on the pump set. Its compact and robust construction offers ease of installation as well as a long lifespan. This unit is available in 12 VDC and 24 VDC configurations.

This pump group is suitable for vessels with steering actuators up to 40 cu in (820 cc) or vessels up to 50 feet (15 m) in length. . Proper pump selection and application is very importants to optimize steering performance and pump longevity.
