Tilted Element transducers ™ have the ceramic element fixed at 20°. , angle of 12° or 0° inside the housing. The transducer is installed almost flush with the hull. Tilting the element corrects hull deadrise by directing the beam directly downward. This ensures maximum echo return to the transducer for more accurate depth readings.
