Featuring a built-in GPS and electronic compass, it is the model of choice for portable or mobile situations. This is based on its GPS location, timestamp functionality, and a compass that automatically aligns to north. There is no need to point the sensor north.
Theoretical wind speed and direction are important for many applications and are often mission critical. On moving vehicles, the 150WX calculates theoretical wind speed and direction based on apparent wind, vehicle speed and vehicle direction.
Feature-packed and enclosed in a case durable, rugged and with a small footprint that is IPX6 rated, the 150WX can be deployed as an integral component of a systemlarger teme. It has been used successfully with the JBTDS HazMat program and on OEM mobile agricultural platforms.
