The P75M is a 600 watt single frequency Chirp transducer operating in the mid frequency band (80-130 kHz). This frequency is ideal for coastal saltwater as well as lakes and provides amazing target definition out to 700 feet.
The transducer includes a plastic housingue fixed inside the hull of the boat and filled with Eco-friendly antifreeze. The transducer is inserted into the housing and adjusted for the appropriate dead rise offset, ensuring that the beam shoots straight down. Liquid is the best means of transmission through the fiberglass and into the surrounding water. The advantages of the in-hull transducer are that there are no protruding features outside the hull, making it the ideal choice for towed or lifted boats.
