Our P79 is a dual-frequency, depth-only hull transducer that easily adjusts to hull tilt angles up to 22 The P79 features a plastic mounting base aligned to the centerline and attached to the interior of the hull. Then it is filled with non-toxic antifreeze. The transducer is inserted into the base and adjusted for the appropriate offset, ensuring the beam is directed downward for maximum echo return. Eco-friendly coolant provides the best means of transmission through solid fiberglass and into the surrounding water. The main advantage of in-hull transducers is the absence of protrusions outside the hull, making them the ideal choice for towed or lifted boats. Designed for small boats up to 8 m (25') with a strong fiberglass hull.
