Airmars Chirp-ready low profile transducer models are the perfect addition to small boats such as center consoles. The low frequency band, operating between 40 and 60 kHz, performs well in deep water, providing excellent coverage and tracking. The SS175L transducer provides up to 20 kHz of total bandwidth in a single installation.
The tilted element transducers have the ceramic element attached at an angle of 20 , 12 or 0 in the case. . When the transducer is installed almost flush with the hull, tilting the element corrects hull deadrise, directing the beam directly downward. This ensures maximum echo returns to the transducer for more accurate depth readings.
The SS175L is available in three angled element models:
- Version inclined fixed 20 for 16 to 24 hulls. tilt angles of thehas hull
- Fixed version 12 inclinations for 8 to 15 hull inclination angles
- Fixed version 0 inclination for 0 to 7 hull inclination angles
