Airmar's low profile Chirp-ready transducer models are the perfect addition to small boats such as center consoles. The high frequency bandoffers a narrow beamwidth, excellent for locating fish clinging to wrecks, reefs and other structures. The high frequency also provides amazing target separation on schooling baitfish and gamefish. The SS175H offers up to 80 kHz of total bandwidth in a single installation and provides superior shallow water performance and superior bottom detail.

Tilted element transducers have the element attached to 20°, 12° or 0°. angle in the transducer housing. Since the transducer is installed almost flush with the hull, when the transducer is installed, the tilt corrects hull deadrise and orients the ceramic element horizontally to ensure maximum echo returns to the transducer.
