Airmar's low profile Chirp transducer models are thePerfect addition to small boats such as center consoles. The low frequency band performs best in deep water, providing excellent coverage and tracking in deeper depths. The SS175L transducer offers up to 20 kHz of total bandwidth in a single installation and delivers enormous deep water performance.

Tilted element transducers have the ceramic element fixed at an angle of 20°, 12° or 0° in the transducer housing. . The transducer is installed almost flush with the hull and the angled element corrects hull deadrise by directing the beam directly downward. This ensures maximum echo returns to the transducer and more accurate depth readings.

Model: SS175C-12-L 1 kW Low frequency: 40 kHz to 60 kHz, maximum depth performance up to 762 m (2500') beam width 32° to 21°, high performance, thin, penetrating shell can be supplied after correct installation. A stainless steel shell with good speed resolution, can be used for fiberglass, wood or metal, stepped, sliding or changing shell. Recommended hull size: maximum 11 m (36'). A bronze hull (B175L) is also available. The model is suitable for fiberglass. Airmar's Chirp-ready discreet sensor model with exclusive Xducer ID technology and wooden hull is a perfect complement to small boats such as the center console. The band bAsse frequency is aimed at deep water artists, providing excellent coverage and tracking at deeper depths. The SS175L sensor can provide a full bandwidth of up to 20 kHz with a single installation and offers excellent deep water performance. The ceramic element of the tilt transducer is fixed in the transducer housing at an angle of 20°, 12° or 0°. The transducer is installed almost flush with the hull, and the tilting element corrects the blind spot of the hull by directly directing the beam downward. This ensures that the greatest degree of echo is returned to the transducer and a more accurate depth reading is obtained. - Specific weight 2.7 kg (6 lbs) heavy shell - Sound insulation windows up to 24° - Urethane hole size 98 mm (3-7/8") seven broadband ceramic internal components
