The performance of Airmars "1 kW, family 260" transducers is legendary. The combination of power and sensitivity has made it the high-performance transducer of choice with conventional fishfinders. Operating at 50 and 200 kHz, the 200 kHz 6-beam narrow beam provides excellent target resolution and sharp images of fish holding tight to wrecks and reefs. The 50kHz frequency is excellent for deep water detection and its wide 19° beam provides ample coverage under the boat.
The SS260 features a stainless steel housing compatible with all hull materials. Installed with the included custom high-performance fairing, the SS260 performs excellently at speeds up to 30 knots (34 MPH).
