The SS60 is a 600 W, 50/200 kHz transducer that incorporates Airmars' popular Tilted Element feature . This tilted element transducer has the ceramic element fixed at an angle of 20 or 12° in the housing. When the transducer is installed almost flush with the hull, tilting the element corrects the dead center of the hull. By pointing the beam directly downward, it ensures maximum echo returns to the transducer and more accurate depth readings.
Available in three angled element designs:
- Fixed inclined version 20 for 16 to 24 hull grip angles
- Fixed version with 12 inclinations for 8 to 15 hull grip angles
