The ST850 is a retractable, discreet thru-hull sensor that calculates precise speed and temperature data and sends it to any network NMEA 2000 network. These low profile units sit almost flush, minimizing drag with only 5mm (3/16") extending outside the shell. The housing features a water valve which minimizes water ingress. water in the boat when the retractable insert is replaced by the plug.
Airmar's intelligent sensors have integrated microelectronics. Speed and temperature sensors are processed directly inside the case itself. All that is needed to receive the data is a single cable into a compatible network or display.>
