Airmar XSONIC M135M Medium Chirp 1 kW hull transducer - 9 pin Marine Navigation & Instruments
XSONIC M135M Medium Chirp 1 kW In-Hull Transducer - 9 Pin
M135M's mid frequency provides the right combination of underboat coverage, extended depth range , and the ability to produce clean, accurate target and structure returns in mid to deeper waters. Mid Frequency also provides excellent mid-depth performance, bottom detail and fish-target separation. Operating over a frequency range of 85 to 135 kHz, this transducer reveals fish at average depths of up to 1,500 feet (457 m) and provides ultra-clear target resolution.
The Airmar's M135M features a plastic mounting base that is aligned with the centerline and secured to the interior of the hull. Then it is filled with non-toxic antifreeze. The transducer is inserted into the base and adjusted for the appropriate offset, ensuring the beam is directeddownward for maximum echo return. Eco-friendly coolant is the best means of transmission through solid fiberglass and into the environment afterward. The main advantage of an in-hull transducer is that there are no protruding features outside the hull, making it the ideal choice for towed or lifted boats. Designed for small boats up to 11 m (36') with a strong fiberglass hull.
