The Airmax Ultra PondWeed Defense Aquatic Herbicide is a broad-spectrum aquatic herbicide that works on all pond weeds, including submerged, floating, and emergent weeds. Pond weed control may be used for the short-term management of duckweed. Ultra PondWeed Defense should be applied to target weeds while they are active and growing. Mix the desired amount of pond weed killer and pond water in accordance with label directions. Using a pressurized sprayer, apply the Ultra PondWeed Defense mixture directly onto target weeds. Treated weeds will begin to brown and die. Once weeds are completely dead, cut and rake them away to prevent an accumulation of plant decay and pond muck. for best results, use Ultra PondWeed Defense with Treatment Booster PLUS. Treatment Booster PLUS is designed to maximize weed and algae treatments by helping to spread and bond the treatment to its target weed/algae. Treatment Booster PLUS also breaks down the surface of the weed/algae to allow the treatment to penetrate.
