Ancor marine grade standard battery cable assemblies are manufactured with Ancor's premium UL1426 tinned copper battery cable. The battery cable is finely stranded to produce maximum conductivity and flexibility. Additionally, all Ancor battery cables are flame retardant, UV inhibited, rated at 600V and 105°C. The terminals are made of tinned copper to prevent corrosion and last longer. Each end has a piece of 3:1 heat shrink tubing lined with Ancor adhesive placed over the electrical connection. Heat shrink tubing protects against moisture and other corrosive elements found in the marine environment and provides strain relief to ensure a longer lasting battery connection.
