The outboard starter fits BRP-OMC, V6, V8 loop, 115-300 HP E-TEC and 10-tooth drive gear.

ARCO recommends using a battery completely loaded. A weak battery can damage the starter motor and solenoid.starter. And to clean all connections as well - A corroded connection creates resistance, thereby reducing the amperage required for an efficient starting circuit.
