This widely used base is constructed of die-cast ZAMAK, chrome finish. The swivel cover protects the socket when the light is stored. The socket has a key to prevent incorrect insertion of the luminaire. Provides a 2 prong plug and 12 degree angle and installs on narrow gunwales or deck areas. Completely non-corrosive, it features nickel-plated contacts to resist corrosion and multi-crimps for durability, as well as tin-plated wires to resist corrosion. Three countersunk holes for installation fixings. Includes 7-1/2 inch hardwires for connection to 12V DC power.
