Digital duo charging - 12/24 V

Digital duo charging (DDC -12/24) provides a "hands-off" solution for charging two battery banks without using problematic isolators or manual battery switches. During charging, the DDC-12/24 monitors the voltage of the household battery. When the voltage exceeds the set minimum (typically 13.2 V in a 12 V system and 26.4 V in a 24 V system), the DDC-12/24 automatically switches on, providing up to 30 A of current charge to the starter battery. When no charging source is present, the DDC-12/24 separates the batteries so that the starter battery is not accidentally discharged into the household battery. An optional solenoid control allows higher starting battery charge output when needed.
