VSS (Voltage Sensitive Switch) Dual Operation 275A Motorized Contact

These Voltage Sensitive Switches (VSS) automatically sense the voltages of the connected battery bank and provide optimal and efficient charging of the second bank. VSS allows independent battery banks to be combined or isolated based on the presence of a charging source (such as an engine alternator or battery charger), while also providing an emergency parallel connection activated remotely, at high current. Designed and built to last in the marine environment with tinned copper conductors, stainless steel nuts and high temperature fiber reinforced plastics. Units are ignition protected, provide on/off switching operation and can be recessed or surface mounted. Remote emergency parallel function can be operated via a mome buttonntanned on the dashboard to parallel the batteries for 10 minutes. After these 10 minutes have passed, the voltage sensitive switch will remain engaged if the voltage is high enough. Otherwise, it will disengage.
