I bought this for my pontoon boat, and right out of the box it had problems. of the centering feature on the escutcheon plate was nearly 0.0700" larger than the inside diameter of the coaxial electrical connector/mounting clamp, thus making it impossible to mount on a surface less than 3/8" thickisseur. Undeterred (I hate sitting silently on lakes), I threw the offending piece into a chuck, and machined it to the correct size. Problem #1 solved. Then came problem #2: the plug didn't fit in the back of my radio! The soldering job was so sloppy, there was so much excess solder left on the center pin that I was back at the shop to reheat it and clean it to fit! As a stroke survivor with only one functioning arm and leg, I cannot express how thrilled I am that I had to get on and off a towed boat 6 times for a simple antenna installation.

GREAT VALUE - GREAT QUALITY

Purchased PYLE PLMRB29W (White) $37.97 Didn't work. I returned it and bought thisarticle Wednesday and received Thursday. Wow, what a difference. NO COMPARISON. It's a solid radio, you can tell the difference. You can feel the difference. Removable faceplate container, nice functionality. The installation instructions have been described as easy to follow. Installation was a breeze. Hands down winner, very reasonable price and good quality with lots of features. Solid components.

Wiring harness wrong manufactured

The radio receives good reception and the sound is good for the radio and for Bluetooth. But the wiring harness for the power supply had a loose pin. Also, the Bluetooth connection was difficult.
