Once we receive the pine into our central Texas location, we carefully sand it and stain it a beautiful brown, red or tan to magnify the wood's beauty. The resulting walking stick is simple yet attractive - a perfect combination. Like all of our walking sticks and canes, the Straight Pine Walking Stick is made in the USA by our skilled craftsmen. How to Size a Walking Cane: Sizing a walking stick is largely a matter of personal preference, but we do offer recommendations based on our 20 years' experience: 41 in. is primarily for children, 48 in. for adults up to 5 ft. 4 in.; 55 in. for adults between 5 ft. 4 in. and 5 ft.11 in.; and 58 in. for adults taller than 5 ft. 11 in.
