This Case Cutlery Sportsmans Honing Kit includes all the essentials to get your pocket knife back to that fresh out of the box sharpness. This knife sharpening kit includes a 4 inch soft Arkansas stone, a 3 inch hard Arkansas stone, and a 3 ounce bottle of honing oil. The soft Arkansas is a coarse stone. Coarse stones are the foundation stones of any sharpening kit. Using a coarse stone is the fastest way to get a good shape on an edge. The hard Arkansas is a finer stone which is used to refine the edge of a folding pocket knife, improving the quality of the cut it delivers. The Case honing oil is designed for use with sharpening stones while sharpening. Only a very little dab is needed when sharpening so the oil will last you a while. This kit comes shrink wrapped.
