The Chief 2 in. Bore x 12 in. Stroke WT Welded Hydraulic Cylinder is a high-quality welded hydraulic cylinder designed for heavier loads. The rod and base ends of the hydraulic cylinder are welded cross-tubes with grease zerks. Designed for performance, it has a heavy-duty piston as well as a piston stem complete with wear rings to reduce friction, and the screw-in gland is removable from the rod end. You can rest easy knowing this cylinder is ideally suited for construction, metal fabricating, waste/recycling, OEM trailer manufacturing, and agricultural applications.- Intended use: double-acting applications
- Piston: ductile iron with wear ring(s)
- Gland: ductile iron, screw-in design with wear ring
- Tube: precision-honed steel
- Rod: ground and polished chromed steel, minimum 75,000 PSI yield
- Butt plate: steel

- Spacer tube: steel on 48 in. stroke and above
- Gland seal: polyurethane U-cup
- Wiper: polyurethane
- Piston seal: 755 Hallite with wear ring(s)
- All other seals are selected and designed for maximum life
- Functionally tested and pressurized to 1.5 times the normal working pressure for max reliability
- 3,000 PSI operating range on the hydraulic cylinder
