SCS-1000 CHIRP Echo Sounder Module

Turns your chart plotter into a CHIRP echo sounder The CHIRP SI-TEX echo sounder is designed to be easily connected and combined with SI-TEX NavPro* multifunction chartplotters to transform it into an echo sounder.

Transducer compatibility

The CHIRP Echo Sounder is compatible with AIRMAR CHIRP and CW transducers, and with Radarsonics CW transducers. It can be coupled with different types of transducers: through the plastic hull, in the hull or through the bronze hull.

Operating frequency and display mode

Operation frequency may vary depending on the transducer model. CHIRP Echo Sounder supports dual frequency mode for CW transducers. Dual mode divides the "Fish Finder" page into two parts. Each part displays the echogram for the preset frequency.

Automatic detection

CHIRP Echo Sounder automatically detects connected AIRMAR transducers. The Xducer ID detection system automatically selects output power and configures settings based on the transducer.

Advanced Filtering

CHIRP Echo Sounder features advanced filtering, which eliminates unwanted noise and accentuates echoes to improve separation and detection.

Zero line

The echo sounder CHIRP supports zero line rejection: depending on the transmission line of a transducer, you can increase or decrease the "Zero Line Zone" values.

History

CHIRP Echo Sounder provides access to the history of echoes received by the transducer. The frequency display history includes approximately 2048 echoes.

Point on map

CHIRP Echo Sounder supports point functiont on the map. This feature allows the user to place a mark on the echogram and then search and check it later on the map.
