2 Gallon Salt Supply System

The LectraSan does not require a salt supply system for seawater use, as the salinity of seawater is sufficient to operate the system as designed. Salt can be added to the LectraSan using a 2-gallon salt supply tank for brackish water. A low salt level is indicated on the LectraSan control indicator panel.

Operation
A saline solution is mixed and placed in the salt supply tank. Each time the toilet is flushed, some of the salt water solution is mixed with the incoming water to increase the salinity of the water in the treatment tank. The LectraSan control indicator panel will indicate when the salt supply tank needs to be refilled with more saline solution.
