As a result, they divested themselves of their interests in all their business holdings. At that time, Switchcraft was sold to company management and a private equity firm. In 1999, Switchcraft acquired Conxall, a manufacturer of circular connectors and cable assemblies, to expand its offering of harsh environment connectivity products. They are located in a 32,000 square foot facility in Villa Park, Illinois. This acquisitionstrategic vision has helped position Switchcraft for increased growth in the industrial market. In 2011, Switchcraft was acquired by HEICO Corporation and became part of its electronic technology group.
