While a CURT hitch pin provides sufficient strength to keep a ball mount firmly attached, a CURT hitch lock goes even further.

CURT hitch locks allow users to lock the ball mount into the trailer hitch, deterring theft. and prevent anyone from detaching a trailer from the ball mount and towing it off the property without permission. This CURT hitch lock features a dumbbell design with an A-frame finishstainless steel and comes with a 1/2" pin diameter and a 5/8" diameter adapter sleeve. This allows it to be used on a 1-1/4" or 2" receiver tube. CURT barbell hitch locks consist of a pin with two ends and a round locking mechanism. This hitch lock is key operated and activated with a simple 1/4 turn. Additionally, the deadbolt hitch lock comes with a waterproof dust cap to keep the elements out and prevent corrosion.
