Echo is powered by a Bluetooth-enabled system that connects directly to a smartphone. A telephone becomes the monitoring unit for the brake control in the vehicle cabin. No additional modules, controls, knobs or buttons are required.

The Echo Trailer Brake Controller comes withec a custom designed app that can be downloaded for iOS or Android OS phones. With this app, the wireless brake controller can connect to a smartphone and display the brake controller settings and activity. It also sends personnel updates and allows users to receive incoming calls while the application is running. Note: If the Bluetooth connection is lost, the brake controller will continue to operate safely using the most recently programmed settings.

The Echo under-dash brake controller operates at aided by a three-axis motion-sensing accelerometer: an integrated circuit that produces smooth, safe stops every time. It is compatible with two to eight trailer brakes (one to four axles) and can be used with low voltage or PWM wiring systems. Echo is also compatible with the regulatorspeed sensor and ABS brakes and has built-in protection against reverse polarity and short circuits. It is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
