This optional mount for WindTrak 15 provides more versatility and reduces overall altitude weight by 15 grams when replaced with the standard WindTrak 15 mounting base. The J-Base comes with two #10 (5mm) self-tapping screws. Drill a pilot hole in the mast, apply silicone sealant or Locktite and screw into the mast. Installation of the J-base can also be accomplished by tapping the pole with 3/16" (5mm) machine screws or using epoxy putty to secure the base to the pole
