WeatherLink LIVE provides fast, reliable and transparent technology to monitor and share your weather data from the Vantage Vue weather station. The LIVE hub receives data wirelessly, then transmits it via Wi-Fi or an Ethernet cable connection to the WeatherLink Cloud. You can view your weather data for FREE at WeatherLink.com or from the WeatherLink app for mobile devices with the Basic level subscription. The free basic personal web page allows you to view current conditions, such aseu: temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, wind speed/direction, precipitation and much more. Weather data uploads to WeatherLink.com every 1 minute. Weather data is uploaded to third party weather reporting services, such as: Weather Underground, CWOP and GLOBE every 15 minutes.

Two key factors set the Vantage Vue apart from most others complete weather stations, refresh rate and transmission distance:

Refresh rate - A data packet is sent from the outdoor transmitter to the receiver every 2 1/ 2 seconds! This means that when you look out the window and see the wind blowing, the weather station will reflect it almost immediately.
Transmission Distance - Line of sight range is 1,000 feet. The typical range in most conditions is 300' to 500'. This is a distancemuch larger than most other professional units.

The Davis Vantage Vue also uses the same frequency-hopping spread spectrum radio technology as the Vantage Pro2 to wirelessly send data up to 'to 1,000 feet and provides weather updates from the exterior integrated sensor suite inside the console every 2.5 seconds.

Thanks to the Weather Center feature in the interior console, Vantage Vue provides lots of additional information for each weather variable. These include daily highs and lows, hour-to-hour temperature changes, air pressure changes, and astronomical data such as moon phase and meteor showers. Additional consoles can be purchased to place in other areas of your home, such as a living room, bedroom or garden.

To make it easier to view weather data at nightit, Davis designed the Vantage Vue console with a Read backlit LCD screen with a glow-in-the-dark keypad. A data collection device in its own right, the console's built-in sensors provide measurements of interior temperature and humidity as well as barometric pressure.

Vantage Vue's exterior Integrated Sensor Suite (ISS) is powered by a solar panel during the day and stored energy for power at night, making it an ideal product or gift for the 'green' consumer. To ensure product longevity, the ISS sensor or electronic components are sealed for added protection against the elements. The package is even tested against cyclic corrosion to simulate harsh environments such as heat, humidity and seaside conditions.
