Reflective striping on the wind vane and pointing tabs make the WindTrak 15 easy to see day or night. WindTrak blades are sturdy and, when properly installed, will provide many years of use. They have been tested in a wind tunnel at wind speeds of 80 knots! WindTrak 15 features a 15" (38 cm) fin. Includes through-bolt or drill and faucet mounting socket; 5/16"-18 stainless steel stud,s washers and a nut. It stands 32cm tall and weighs just 101g.
A bird repellent spike extends a further 10" (24cm) above the weather vane to discourage birds from landing.
It is designed for installing masthead advertisements on cruisers and offshore racing cars. It provides clear and accurate wind direction information on a mast up to 70 feet. long and 15 inches long
