The system uses the proven 1.25m WL70 Wi-Fi antenna and comes with a compact wireless router powered by direct current called iKConnect. This creates a local Wi-Fi network on board the boat allowing mobile devices such as phones, tablets and laptops to share the connectivity of the long range Wi-Fi antenna, allowing multiple devices and users to share Internet connection.

The WL70 has a high-power modem integrated into the robust 15 dBm antenna. It is self-powered from a USB connection, either directly to a PC/MAC or via the iKConnect router in the new WL70R pack, making installation really easy.
