These furlers are renowned for being lightweight, easy to assemble and aesthetically pleasing. In addition, this furler is reliable for cruising or racing.

The standard kit for the FX+4500 reel includes:
- A duplex stainless steel ratchet permittant a temporary stop when winding and a self-locking clockwise and counterclockwise (Facnor patent)
- An aluminum continuous line drum anodized and CNC machined from a solid block, protected by a composite/carbon housing, low profile drum
- A swivel also made from anodized aluminum and CNC machined from a solid block, including an anti-impact neoprene cover with high visibility marking
- One carabiner shackle as lower drum attachment (optional SSH+4500 solid sheave as alternative)
- One shackle as upper swivel attachment (SB4500 block 2 -in-1 optional as an alternative)
Offers comfort in handling the sails, reliability and easy handling:
- One-piece design of the mechanisms for greater robustness and longevity
- Intuitive handling to connect the sail to the mechanisms thanks to an integrated supporttegrated, compact and Unique captive pin with quick release
- Lower drive unit with generously dimensioned diameter for high torque and therefore more comfortable handling
- Is rotation transmitted by an anti-twist luff rope? Optional - sliding inside the luff tape and fitted with a thimble at each end (FCI4500 s-s thimbles and FRC s-s clamps are also available)
- Easy installation of furling loop (s-s guide + drum notch), discover Facnor Special GRIP loops for efficient rotation of the drum and removable fairleads TSL25/28
