Chesapeake White SS 2" Water Temperature Gauge (100-250°F)
Rimally illuminated white dial with stylish blue and white graphics, steel bezel polished stainless, contoured white pointer and domed glass lens.
A temperature gauge works by sending a low amperage current through the gauge's meter to ground via a sending unit to variable resistance. The resistance of the sending units increases or decreases with changes in pressure, temperature, etc.
As the resistance of the sender varies, the amount of current allowed. through it to the ground changes and the meter deflects, displaying the temperature.
