Chesapeake White SS 4" Tachometer with Systemcheck Gauge - 7,000 RPM (Gas - Johnson/Evinrude Outboard)

Tachometers work by counting pulses generated by the ignition system, alternator, tach signal generator. or the magnetic sensor transmitter The tachometer is connected to +12 V DC and one of the signal sources listed.

By selecting the correct tachometer and setting the switch to it. back to the correct position, you tell the tachometer how many pulses are sent for each revolution of the engine.

These tachometers have a warning light system built into the dial that displays indicators of Warning when a fault is detected in the motor.

Tachometers operate by counting pulses generated by the ignition system, alternator, tach signal generator or magnetic sensor transmitter. The tachometer is connected to +12V DC, ground, and one of the signal sources listed.

By selecting the correct tachometer and setting the switch on the back to the correct position , you indicate to the tachometer the number of pulses. sent for each revolution of the engine.
