Black edge-lit dial with bold white graphics, bezel made of black aluminum, contoured white pointer and flat glass lens.

Electronic tachometers operate by counting pulses generated by the ignition system, alternator, tach signal generator or transmitter magnetic sensor. The tachometer is connected to +12 V DC, ground and a. of the signal sources listed above.

By selecting the correct tachometer and setting the switch on the back to the correct position, you tell the tachometer how many pulses are sent for each revolution of the motor.
