Kronos 2" Water Temperature Gauge (100-250°F)
Polished stainless steel bezel, flat glass lens, illuminated spun aluminum dial perimeter with gold and black graphics Gold increments and logo on dial are embossed. All instruments include a two-piece Newport pointer with a white hub.
A temperature gauge operates by sending. a low amperage current through the meter to ground via a variable resistance sending unit. The resistance of the sending units increases or decreases with changes in pressure, temperature, etc.
As the resistance of the emitter varies, the amount of current allowed to flow through it to ground changes and the meter deviates, displaying the temperature.
