The FLIR M232 marine thermal camera is the smallest and most affordable pan-and-tilt night vision marine thermal camera. Using the latest generation Boson(TM) thermal core, the M232 allows boaters to see at night with a thermal resolution of 320 x 240 and also features a 2x digital zoom. When the M232 is paired with a Raymarine Axiom MFD, FLIR's ClearCruise™ intelligent thermal analysis technology offers boaters a whole new level of awareness and safety. The M232 also uses IP video technology and simplifies installation by eliminating additional video signal cables. The M232 offers 2X digital zoom capabilities.

When the M132/232 cameras are set for Ball Down or Mirror Image configurations, Clear Cruise is not available. This is due to the nature of the algorithm that supports this function and its relationship to horizon orientation. For the moment, no date has been set to remedy this problem.

FLIR JCU-3 Joystick Controller works with select thermal camera systems to allow full access to the camera's pan, tilt, zoom and menu settings . The JCU-3 features 9 buttons plus a rotary controller and joystick trackpad in a compact body that fits just about anywhere. The JCU-3 can be mounted horizontally or vertically using one of the 2 key faces provided.

The JCU-3 is rugged and waterproof for mounting in the cockpit or on the bridge. It can be surface mounted or recessed on a bar, console or partition. Multiple JCU-3 controllers can be installed to allow control of a single camera from several different locations on board.

The JCU-3 keypad and rotary knob are backlit for easy viewing at night . The JCU-3 can be powered via Ethernet from the ship's onboard network or connecPowered directly to a 12V DC power source and interfaced to the camera with an Ethernet connection. The JCU-3 is compatible with FLIR M100, M200 (M132, M232), M300, M332, M354, M364c and M364C LR.
