This accumulator tank is intended to be installed in any pumped water system controlled by a pressure switch. For example, most pressure pumps found in boats, motorhomes, caravans, coaches and similar applications. The accumulator tank smoothes water flow and reduces pump on/off cycles by reducing pressure and flow variation between the pump and system outlets. The regular flow of water allows for better control of hot water temperature, particularly visible with instantaneous gas water heaters and showers. Reduces on/off cycles, reduces pump motor noise and shock pressures (water hammer). It also reduces battery drain due to current spikes.
