Lightning Master™ static heatsinks reduce exposure to a direct lightning strike by controlling the conditions that trigger a direct lightning strike (i.e. they reduce the build-up of the static charge on the ground and delay the formation of the ionic "streamers" that complete the path of a lightning strike).

The heatsink uses the point discharge principle to continuously escape lightning causing ground potential. at low amperage over a long period of time instead of a short duration high amperage discharge occurring during a lightning strike.
