These anchors are made from the same high-strength, corrosion-resistant aluminum and magnesium alloy as Fortress, making them stronger and lighter than competing steel anchors. With Guardian anchors, several Fortress machining steps and additional features, such as anodizing and adjustable beat angles, are eliminated. The Guardian anchor is limited to a single angle of 32 degrees, which will work for most common seabeds. The result is a high-performance anchor designed for fast grip and strong holding power, and a very affordable alternative to those heavy, rust-prone steel anchors. As strong as steel, but only half the weight, Guardian anchors are second only to the Fortress F modelX in terms of power testing. They make a great replacement or storm anchor for your boat or yacht.
