The BBDS1 is a network fishfinder for NavNet 3D and NavNet TZtouch that features an updated bottom discrimination function, as well as FDF capability ( Furuno Digital Filter) of the DFF1. There are two bottom discrimination display modes to choose from, standard mode and probability mode. In standard mode, the most likely materials on the bottom (mud, sand, gravel or rock) are indicated either in graphic mode or by a 4-color barers at the bottom of the screen.

Because the material of the bottom can change frequency and can sometimes be difficult to identify, Probability mode shows you what material the bottom is most likely to be made of displaying possible background materials proportionally in the 4 color bar.
