Target analysis function using Doppler technology

NXT was the first radar in theworld to use Furuno's new exclusive Target Analyzer™ feature, where targets that automatically approach your ship automatically change color. Green targets are targets that remain stationary or move away from you, while red targets move towards your ship. Target Analyzer™ operates independently of ship speed, both of your own ships and target ships, with minor limitations. Echoes change color dynamically as targets approach or move away from your ship. Target Analyzer™ can increase safety and improve situational awareness.

Rapid target tracking

Once a target has been selected , a speed and heading vector is displayed in seconds. With accurate tracking information, estimating the heading and speed of other vessels is greatly simplified. Thanks to Doppler technology, everything isapproaching yours will automatically display a target vector and trigger an alarm.

RezBoost Beam Sharpening

For the first time Exclusive RezBoost™ technology from Furuno is used in one of our radar units, with impressive performance. With the RezBoost™ set to MAX, the sharpness of a much larger open array antenna can be achieved.

Bird mode gives you an inside look at schools of fish!

The DRS-NXT series features an enhanced bird mode that helps you identify birds gathered around schools of fish on the sea surface. Bird mode automatically adjusts gain settings and sea for optimal visibility.
