The GPSMAP 7608xsv's built-in sonar capabilities include dual CHIRP of 1 kW. Sonar, the most sophisticated sonar technology available to the fishing and boating public. Dual CHIRP sonar provides incredibly clear target separation and definition because it puts even more energy on the target than CHIRP. It gives you the ability to simultaneously display low/high, medium/high or low/medical on the screen, improving your ability to distinguish inbe game fish and bait fish balls. It also includes CHIRP ClearVü and CHIRP SideVü scanning sonars that provide near-photographic sonar images of fish and structures passing under and to the sides of your boat.
