The new antenna, made with the best raw materials, is made of a fiberglass tube, resistant to stress and treated with an anti-yellowing material, which protects the internal brass elements. 1.2m (4') long, with a gain of 3dB, the antenna is intended for installation at the top of a mast in order to have the best transmission performance, as well as for installation on motorboats thanks to to different optional supports. At the bottom, the antenna features a 5/8" x 24 threaded ferrule that can be paired with optional brackets and brackets. Additionally, the antenna can be equipped with the new high-quality Glomex RG8X coaxial cable and low loss, offered in different longurers and already pre-installed at both ends with a special professional and miniaturized FME connector. If however it is necessary to have a longer antenna, you can use the new robust RA303 1.2m (4') extension, made with the same construction materials as the VHF antenna to achieve exceptional aesthetics. This extension easily mounts to the bottom of the antenna and is equipped with a built-in 1" x 14 internal ferrule for easy installation on any Glomex mount. All of these features allow boat owners to have a great freedom in the implementation of the VHF system and to have an extremely simple and quick installation, thanks to the FME-UHF adapter and the various optional supports.
