The device is powered by 2 MN-21 batteries and has been in use for approximately 1 year. The device has a series of DIP switches. DIP switch allows user to select one of 65,000 channelsx to communicate with a specific remote control spot. The portable remote control has an on/off button, a fast/slow setting and 4 direction buttons. As long as the button is pressed, the spotlight on the electric remote control moves in one direction.
