The long gun mounting kit's Rifle Rods are composed of hook-and-loop material and injection-molded plastic. There is no spring loading and no magnets, metal or magic involved. Staple the Rifle Rods shelf liner to the underside of the shelf directly above your long guns. Slide the Rifle Rod down the barrel of your gun. Set the butt of the gun in the desired location and pull up until the hook-and-loop material on the Rifle Rod attaches to the shelf liner. Think your gun safe is full? Think again!
