Harken 1 Ton Pulley Sailing

1 Ton Twing Block

The Twing Block features a spring-loaded side-opening mechanism for true one-handed rigging, even when wearing gloves of sailing. Black anodized aluminum side plates are lined with heavy-duty bumpers to protect the block, tops and deck. The pulley is aluminum rolling on a shared bearing system with Harken's existing 2.3T high load working pulley.

Side opening side plate - Easy to install and remove from the sheet
Unlock by spring-loaded button - Quick one-handed rigging
Anti-capsize bar - Keeps block aligned with sheet
ULC main bearing - Block rotates smoothly under extreme load
Side load balls - Carry loads, especially when the block is not aligned in light air
Thimble at the swivel base - Use a commande high-low 1:1 or 2:1
Inner side plates made of machined aluminum - High strength, low weight
Outer side plate bumper made of soft polyurethane - Protects the block and bridge

Uses:

Twing, tweaker control for zero codesheets
Can be used as a splitter block when combined with a soft shackle
Control of the sheet and spinnaker shroud
