When the child is ready, move to Stage 2; remove the seat insert so the child can sit in the tricycle seat and put feet easy-reach platforms-all while the parent continues to steer. In Stage 3, the child is ready to remove the canopy and easy-reach platforms. The parent steer bar stays on, so it can be used as needed. Stage 4 means all systems are go, and the child understands how to steer and ride the trike.
