The orange power light lets you know you're connected to power, while the orange and green connection lights give you a quick status of what's connected.

Connect up to five Humminbird fishfinders and other compatible Ethernet devices for data sharing over the network.
Expand your network capacity by up to 20 devices by connecting additional switches together (sold separately).
Compatible with all APEX, SOLIX, HELIX G4N and HELIX G3N.
Connection LED: Solid = Connected; Flashing = Data transferin progress ; No light = No connection
Orange connection light: HELIX G4N and G3N, AS ETH NMEA2K, Minn Kota trolling motor, Radar
Green connection light: APEX, SOLIX, MEGA Live, TargetLock, AS ETH 5PXG, AS ETH 5PGL
Orange power indicator: connected to power
Additional Ethernet cables are required to connect the devices to this switch. AS EC QDE connectors will also be required to connect compatible HELIX models to the Ethernet switch.
