Icom F5061 VHF Land Mobile Fixed Radio - IDAS Digital VersionSuitable for mobile or base station operationThe IC-F5061 is ideal for users in public safety, transportation and delivery services. It offers advanced multi-mode operations, enhanced scanning and flexible installation. Group, selective and telephone calls are all available in LTR mode. The beep on reception function informs you with a beep when an individual call is received. Use the built-in CTCSS, DTCS, 2-Tone 5-Tone or MDC 1200 capability to create your own talk groups and let your radio go to sleep silently when other groups are talking. Built-in 2-tone and 5-tone capabilities allow you to send one tone code with your call and decode multiple tone codes on one channel. 40 pairs of CTCSS/DTCS memory channels are available. Advanced identification featuresAutomatic numbering (ANI), selective call (Selcall) and emergency call are available with integrated MDC signaling. The PTT ID function sends your unit's ID number when you press (or release) the PTT button. The received ID number can be decoded into a username using the alias table. Selcall allows you to call individual or group users as you wish. The emergency call feature allows you to send and repeat an emergency message to the dispatcher until the dispatcher responds. In such a situation, the radio can transmit whatever the microphone hears and the dispatcher can monitor the background noise. Radio check, status, messages, radio stun, wake-up and call log are also available. With a high-contrast dot-matrix display, uppercase and lowercase characters can be easily distinguished. You canChange the display setting to display one line and 12 characters, or two lines and 24 characters via programming. LCD backlighting is standard. IDAS 6.25 kHz digital mode is available via the pre-installed UT-126H digital card. IDAS is Icom's digital land mobile radio system using 6.25 kHz narrow-band FDMA technology.
